Pork Spare Ribs

A staple for those who love BBQ, these pork spare ribs are melt-in-your-mouth delicious when done to perfection in the oven or grill with your favorite rub.

Spare ribs are a larger, meatier rib than the more famous baby back rib. Because they have more meat, they are a perfect choice when feeding a crowd. They are cut from the section of the rib cage directly underneath the baby back rib.

The extra muscle and fat on the spare rib requires a longer cooking time than baby backs. You can cook them in the oven, on the grill or in the smoker. And when the meat falls of the bone, you'll find it's worth the wait.
