No matter the use, start by roasting the Beef Marrow Bones in the oven. Salting the bones will add extra flavor. If making a broth, cook it low and slow. Give those bones plenty of time for the collagen to seep out, thicken and flavor the broth.
While broths and sauces are the most popular, the marrow can also be removed after roasting for use in other recipes. With its smooth, creamy consistency, many people enjoy spreading beef marrow on toast like butter.
