A great alternative to belly bacon

All natural and free of nitrates, this cottage bacon has a sweet, salty and slightly smoky flavor that makes incredible BLTs (and a whole lot more).

Made from the pork butt (shoulder) rather than the belly meat used for typical bacon, cottage bacon is meatier and leaner than regular bacon.

You can use cottage bacon exactly like regular bacon. Bake it in the oven. Fry it in a pan on the stove. Or give it some crispiness on the grill.

It fries up more like ham than bacon (with much less shrinking too). And pairs wonderfully with eggs or potatoes. And because the cut is larger and rounder, it sits almost perfectly on a bun or patty (making it the perfect burger or sandwich topping).

Like all our pork products, the pigs were raised on the lush forage found on the biodiverse pastures of our family farm with non-GMO grains as a diet supplement. And they were raised without the use of antibiotics, chemicals or growth hormones.
