Beef Marrow Bone Broth

Long recognized as an excellent food for fighting illness, bone broth is known as a source of many micronutrients. The broth has anti-inflammatory properties as well as supports digestive, bone and joint health. And it's easier than you think to make your own nutrient-rich broth at home.

Ingredients
- (Approx 3 lbs) Beef Marrow Bones
- (1 - 2) Garlic Cloves
- (2 TBSP) Apple Cider Vinegar
- (1 - 2 TBSP) Kosher Sea Salt
- (2 Stalks) Celery, roughly chopped
- (2) Carrots, quartered
- (1 - 2) Bay Leaves
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 - 450° F.
- Spread bones on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
- Roast for 25 - 30 min until the bones are browned and marrow is soft, turning bones after 15 min.
- Place bones in crock pot.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Fill crock pot with filtered water until just below the rim.
- Cook on low for 24 hours.
- Cool to room temperature.
- Remove bones.
- Strain broth.
- Store in jars or containers in the refrigerator or freezer. You can also freeze some in ice-cube trays for smaller portions.
