Our New Favorite Meatloaf

When you take ordinary meatloaf, fine tune the spices and then cut the ground beef with ground pork, you get a family favorite. Perfectly seasoned with a burst of rich juiciness from the added ground pork that makes it hard to stop eating. It is also so easy to make! So, go grab a pound of 100% grass-fed beef and our delicious pastured pork, make a pan of this and watch the reaction of your family (or yourself).

Ingredients
- (1 lb) Ground Pork
- (1 lb) Ground Beef
- (1) Onion, diced
- (3 cloves) Garlic
- (1 tsp) Sea salt
- (1 tsp) Black pepper
- (1/4 tsp) Thyme
- (1/4 cup) Ketchup
- (3 Tbsp) Olive oil
- (3) Eggs
- (1/2 cup) Quick oats
- (2 Tbsp) Worcestshire sauce
Directions
- In a saucepan on the stovetop, sauté onion until soft. Once the onion is soft, add finely minced garlic and spices. Keep the heat low so the garlic doesn't burn.
- Add ketchup and continue cooking on low for three minutes or until thick and saucy. Remove from heat and cool a bit.
- In a large bowl, mix together 100% Grass-fed ground beef and Ground pork. Add all remaining ingredients, then your sauce.
- Mix well for three to four minutes to make the mixture nice and tacky.
- Preheat oven to 400 F
- Shape the meat mixture into a loaf or what we have done is a big ring in a baking pan. (image)
- Bake at 400 F until center temperature reaches 160 F or about 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and enjoy with your favorite side of veggies or potatoes!
